CIPITC Announces Criteria, Methods and Conditions Relating to the Electronic Court Procedures in the Pandemic of Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19)image

                    Central Intellectual Property and International Trade Court has announced the Notification on Criteria, Methods and Conditions Relating to the Electronic Court Procedures in the Pandemic of Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19), effective May 14th, 2021, in accordance with the Office of the judiciary’s Notification on Criteria, Methods and Conditions Relating to the Electronic Court Procedures in the Pandemic of Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) (No. 2, 3 and 4).  The proceedings can be conducted via Cisco Webex, Google Meets, or LINE Meeting, etc.,  with judges and associate judges presiding in court and relevant parties in appropriate places as prescribed by the Notification.

                   The primary purposes of online court proceedings are to build confidence for judges, associate judges, litigators and all relevant parties in case adjudication during the pandemic of COVID-19, as well as to allow the proceedings to continue under the current situation.
